When a disabled dad was having trouble visiting his daughter because of her front steps, her boyfriend got to work building a ramp for his wheelchair! Heartwarming footage shows the young man laboring in the snow to create an accessable entrance. Both father and daughter were touched by this gesture of love. Now, Dad can visit whenever he wants!
“Watching your loved one be handicapped is watching them not have access to a lot of things — including coming to see me because of two steps,” wrote the young woman on social media.
It meant the world to her that her boyfriend was willing to go out of his way to make her dad feel at home. When he finished the project, he called his girlfriend’s father on FaceTime to show off his handmade wheelchair ramp. The older man was absolutely thrilled that he’d be able to visit more easily from now on!
“I think he’s a keeper… What a kind and thoughtful young man you have,” wrote one commenter.
