Megan Li Wang first met David on the set of a Lenovo commercial two years ago. Their instant connection was hard to deny and, after a few months, the two began to date. A lot has happened since that day, but one thing remains true: They’re head over heels for one another! That’s why, when David’s ready to pop the question, he cleverly incorporates their commercial into his proposal. The idea is to make it seem as though their old commercial is playing on TV — but there’s one big difference.
This version is an extended cut where, at the end, David’s “past self” plays a part in their proposal. To pull this off, David had to use all of his showbiz skills: acting, writing, and editing. As for Megan, she has no idea what’s going on. In fact, the only reason she starts recording it is because she thinks they’re not getting paid for an old commercial airing and wants proof!

Between David laughing, Megan’s stunned silence, and the two of them still not keeping it together once he’s officially on one knee, there are simply so many things to love about this proposal! So much so, in fact, that the official Lenovo TikTok account left a comment on their now viral video.
“You had us worried there for a second,” Lenovo jokes. “A huge congrats to you both! Since a ThinkPad was there at the start of your love story, can we send you matching ThinkPads to help celebrate?”
