A woman was out driving one day when she saw a determined mom in action. A mama skunk and her six wriggly little babies were crossing a street when they encountered a sidewalk curb that was a bit too high for the little ones to manage.
As the woman recorded the incident, the mother skunk reached down and lifted each of her babies up onto the sidewalk by the scruff of their necks. It took over a minute for her to help all of them, and once they were over the hump, the woman filming uttered an audible sigh of relief. “Yes!” she breathed as the precious skunk family waddled away.
