Now, more than ever, it seems that people are doing their best to make informed food choices. Studies have shown that a healthy diet and regular exercise can lead to a longer life. In April 20205, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office announced plans to phase out petroleum-based synthetic food dyes. Tyson Foods made those changes earlier this year. Now, the company will take things a step further to improve its products.

Tyson Foods Will Remove High Fructose Corn Syrup By The End Of 2025
According to a news release, Tyson Foods intends to remove High Fructose Corn Syrup, Sucralose, BHA/BHT, and Titanium Dioxide by the end of 2025. The changes will affect brands like Tyson, Jimmy Dean, Hillshire Farm, Wright, State Fair, Aidells, and ibp.
“We continuously review and assess our product portfolio to ensure the highest quality products that meet the needs of consumers,” Donnie King, President & CEO of Tyson Foods shared in a news release. “Our decision to remove High Fructose Corn Syrup and other ingredients reflects our ongoing commitment to feeding the world like family, while preserving the taste, value and integrity that define our iconic brands.”
Tyson Foods takes healthy food and giving back to the community seriously. The brand recently posted an uplifting message on Instagram.
“More than 30,000 pounds of protein provided. $20,000 donated. Countless families nourished,” the post reads. “Today, we teamed up in partnership with @walmart and the @nwachampionship to support the @nwafoodbank, AND our team members volunteered to help put food directly into our own hometown community. Because feeding the world like family starts right here at home.”
