“I saw this one ring that really spoke to me,” John said of the ring. “Because it had two stones in it. I mean, normally an engagement ring would be one stone, but I like the fact that it had two stones, and they had a little pavé path leading up to each stone.”
For John, the ring just made sense. “I thought, like, it’s the two of us together, and there’s our past lives each leading up to us being together.”

John Zambetti Can’t Wait to Make Things Official with Jane Seymour
John Zambetti told People that he is an old-fashioned man who wants to marry Jane Seymour. The word partner reminds him too much of a business transaction. John explained that he had a whole proposal planned, but couldn’t wait any longer and asked Jane to marry him at their California home.
“I got down on my knees, the whole thing,” he said. “I had the ring hidden in the safe, pulled out the ring. I opened the box, and the ring popped out of the box, onto the bed.”
Jane Seymour added a rather unexpected detail about John Zambetti’s proposal. “We weren’t wearing any clothes,” she said.
John had to crawl on the floor, but finally found the ring and proposed.
“Serious bedhead involved. But the funniest part was that he couldn’t get up afterwards,” she says. “His knee was now stuck from being under the bed and I’m not strong enough to pull him up because he weighs almost twice what I do. We looked at one another and started laughing hysterically.”
Jane graciously accepted the ring, and the pair will live happily ever after.
“He’s just the kindest, most intelligent, loving, caring, giving human being I’ve ever met,” she said.
