Teeny Yorkie Picks Biggest Toy In Store & We Can’t Stop Laughing Seeing Her Carry It.

Lucy the Yorkshire Terrier is just a little bitty thing, but shhhhh, don’t tell her that.

Last spring, she and her two-legged “parents”were vacationing in Daytona Beach, Florida and dropped by a local pet store so Lucy could pick out a toy. But did she go for a little ball or tiny treat like most pups her size? No, because this adorable little Yorkie, her mom says, is “totally oblivious to her size.â€

Instead, Lucy selected a plush toy about three times her size, one you’d expect a lab or Golden retriever to carry around in their comparatively massive maws.

Her “mom,”Vickie Sheffer Adkins Fulton, posted a video on her Facebook page of Lucy and her new toy, and it quickly went viral. Lucy can barely contain her excitement as the clerk rings up the purchase!

When Dad passes the plush toy down to her, she pulls it out of his hand and practically has to unhinge her jaw to get a good hold on it.

You’d think she’d topple over a couple times, but she’s surprisingly stable as she makes a beeline for the exit, then carries her prize through the parking lot to the car.

“It’s overwhelming to see that a video of a precious little dog can bring so many smiles and laughter for people,”Vickie said after her video went viral.

I am receiving so many nice comments from people all over the world. You name a country or state, and we’ve probably heard something from them. This has been so overwhelming for us.

It appears Lucy has a habit of biting off more than she can chew, at least when it comes to toys. Vickie posted a video a couple weeks ago showing Lucy playing with an early Valentine’s present, and it looks like she’s upgraded once again!
