Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s Granddaughter Shares Modern Tribute to Iconic Stars

Desliu Production

Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz changed the world with I Love Lucy. More than 70 years later, devoted fans still adore the comedy, the love story, and the brand. Among the biggest fans is the couple’s granddaughter, Kate Luckinbill. The 41-year-old daughter of Lucie Arnaz and Laurence Luckinbill posted her new ink on TikTok, and fans can’t get enough of the nod to Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. As the couple’s granddaughter, Kate is in fact a “Desilu Production,” so she tattooed it right on her arm.

The ‘Desilu Production’ Tattoo is Iconic

In the 1950s, Lucy was the first pregnant woman ever portrayed on television. Of course, we’ve come a long way in the decades since that first baby bump, and the Desilu Production tattoo in the company’s font looks positively perfect on Kate Luckinbill’s arm. I Love Lucy fans certainly thought so and flooded the comment section with praise.

“But also you ARE a Desilu production, that’s dope,” someone wrote.

The tattoo was just perfect for Kate. “There has never been a tatt that fits a person so perfectly,” another fan wrote.

Seeing Kate Luckinbill with the Desilu Production tattoo brought back great memories for Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s fans.

“Love it. I saw your grandfather on some show the other night and thought, OMG, Kate has his eyes, it’s amazing, the resemblance!” One wrote.

This person paid the family’s legacy a beautiful compliment.

“I know people say some form of this to you so often but… you are SUCH a glorious combination of your grandparents and mom (don’t know who your dad is but you definitely have those Arnaz/Ball genes)!” They shared.

There will never be another Lucy and Desi, but what an amazing way to carry her family with her always.
