Kevin Bacon and his daughter Sosie teamed up for a new duet. This time, it was covering Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus’ new country single, but the duo changed up the lyrics in the sweetest way.
Kevin and Sosie posted a video of their performance on Instagram captioning, “A little duet of II Most Wanted, but had to make a few lyric changes to keep it father-daughter friendly.”
Beyoncé and Miley’s version seems to be channeling some Thelma and Louise or young love vibes saying “I’ll be your shotgun rider/’Til the day I die/Smoke out the window flyin’/Down the 405/I’ll be your backseat baby, drivin’ you crazy/
Anytime you like.”
Kevin and Sosie Bacon, however, made a few tweaks that will pull all parents’ heartstrings.
“I’ll be your shotgun rider/ ’till the day I die/you’re safe in your car seat flying down the 405/,” they duet.
“You’re in my backseat baby,” Kevin sings while he strums the guitar.
“And I’m driving you crazy,” Soise replies
“Exactly what I like,” Kevin croons.
People in the comments are loving the duet for two reason. They father-daughter team have a true musical talent, and the cute words are heartwarming.
