When John Goodman first starred as Dan Conner on Roseanne, he was larger than life. Both his personality and stature made a big impact on audiences. He and his TV wife, Roseanne Barr, both had bigger bodies at a time when that was much less acceptable in Hollywood. Now, nearly 40 years later, John Goodman recently wrapped the reboot of Roseanne, The Conners, in a much smaller frame. He’s famously lost significant weight in the last few years. But a newly surfaced TikTok with John and dentist Dr. Kevin Sands made many fans do a double take. Not only does John have a gorgeous set of pearly whites, but he’s also so thin that some people don’t even recognize him.

John Goodman Was All Smiles
“The one and only John Goodman! We are thrilled with your new smile,” Dr. Kevin Sands shared on TikTok.
John hugged the doc, then mugged for the camera with a close-up shot of his smile.
“They’re all mine,” John joked. “I paid for them!”
Fans loved seeing John Goodman being himself.
“I love John, he seems like a good guy,” a fan wrote.
“I love John Goodman. He seems like a true down to earth guy,” this person agreed.
Another fan hoped Dr. Kevin treated John well. “That man is a treasure. I hope he got your best work.”
“That man has been the same age for 40 years,” a fan noticed.
“Wow! Lucky dude! My two fave John Goodman roles were Fred Flintstone and Lawrence Woolsey from Matinee! One of the best actors of our time,” a fan gushed.
An only friend shared a sweet memory. “That is more John than I’ve ever seen. I went to college with him and Springfield, Missouri Southwest, Missouri state what a good fun guy he might remember a story about me playing guitar at the vets barn dance.”
