One jealous dog hasn’t been handling the arrival of a new baby in the house very well! Pet owner Ashley shared the most hilarious footage of her four-legged friend “complaining” about all the attention his little sister has been getting. We don’t want to laugh at this pooch’s pain, but his pitiful groans are just too cute! Even his dad couldn’t resist having a bit of fun at the disgruntled pup’s expense.

In Ashley’s clip, her loved ones were gathered on the couch while her partner held their adorable baby girl. Apparently, the couple’s jealous dog did not find this amusing at all. This pooch immediately began to whine and grumble about his dad cuddling the infant instead of him! One of the people on the couch tried to reason with the pet, but to no avail.
“That’s your baby sister, she’s so good!” the woman said to the canine.
This didn’t seem to make matters any better for the jealous dog, who continued to make discontented sounds. That’s when Dad found a way to upset the animal even further.
“You want a pet?” he asked, reaching out a hand.
For a moment, the pooch was quiet. However, Dad quickly pulled his hand back.
“Too bad,” he said.
At this, the indignant animal uttered his most outraged whine yet, then turned away! Although this was a bit mean of Dad, everyone else couldn’t help but laugh at the jealous dog’s dramatic response. Some commenters on the video, however, were less forgiving!
“You pet that poor puppy right now,” wrote one user.

Another echoed the sentiment, writing, “Give him pets RIGHT NOW poor baby.”

It looks like this dog has grown slightly more fond of his baby sister.
In an update video, Ashley shared some footage and photos that seemed to indicate a better relationship between her baby daughter and the jealous dog. Nowadays, Mom says that the pooch is “the best big brother.”
What a happy ending to the story!
