While in his mansion in Hidden Valley, California, the superstar heard a strange noise coming from outside. Worried, he went to check on whatever was taking place.
What he found was a complete shock! A car sat in the middle of the road, completely destroyed… with a 32-year-old man inside. The car had hit a drainage ditch and flipped over several times, California Highway Patrol said.
So what did Jamie do? Of course he immediately dialed 911 for assistance, but he also took action. He began running towards the car, with every intention to do whatever necessary. Selflessly, he reached the vehicle and assessed the situation.
Clearly, something horrible was about to happen as the car was incredibly damaged. So with a pair of scissors, Foxx cut the man’s seatbelt, grabbed him and pulled him to safety. Just moments later the car was in complete flames.
Without Jamie’s selfless help, which put his own safety at risk, there’s no question the victim would either be severely injured from the fire or dead.
