“Hey, Iris!” the toddler’s mother called. Her answer was a giddy laugh.
Iris’s mom took her to experience snow for the first time and thankfully filmed her precious reaction. While snow might be something the rest of us take for granted, for this youngster, it was an almost magical experience.
At first, the little girl didn’t quite know what to make of the big white flakes falling around her. But she did know that she liked them.

But still, one important question remained unanswered … Could she eat it?

Once mom asked Iris about eating snow, it was on! The excited toddler proceeded to try (and fail in the cutest way possible) to eat the snow, chasing the flakes with her tongue out.
A few moments later, she stood with her mouth open, seemingly in amazement. Yeah, those snowflakes are faster than they look!

The video is definitely an adorable reminder that there are still things that bring about a sense of wonder for the very young — and the young at heart.
