One talented high schooler with a camera has been capturing some of the most gorgeous footage of the Florida Everglades we’ve ever seen. Luca Martinez, 18, is passionate about sharing the beauty of these beautiful wetlands on social media, where he’s garnered millions of views. However, the young man’s project is about more than just creating aesthetic videos. He also wants people to know that this spectacular location is in danger.

“Beyond my beautiful videos lies the reality that this place has been giving me life is dying,” said Luca, according to WPLG. “I hope that my videos get people to care. Get people to see that this place is so much more than a swamp. It’s a place that we rely on, you know?”
