The only problem with loving a pet is that their life spans are far too short. That’s why a son found the perfect way to pay tribute to his mother’s beloved dog, who recently passed away. The mom doted on her pup for all 17 years of his life, and she is clearly still mourning his loss every single day.
A few months after her dog died, her son gave her a wrapped gift and filmed her as she opened it. As soon as she pulls off the paper covering and sees that he commissioned a portrait of her canine bestie, she breaks down. She then strokes the glass of the painting over and over, as if petting the dog beneath it. Aw!
