Gordon Ramsay has a reputation for throwing sassy insults and comebacks at chefs in the kitchen. But when he’s on MasterChef Junior, he’s got to be a little more tactful.
In this episode, Gordon suggested a kid-chef use a spoon for his task. When he selected a giant spoon, Gordon took a moment and called him a donut!
Unfazed, this kiddo smiled and responded, “I don’t have a small spoon!”
Gordon Ramsay then ran over and found a spoon for the chef, making a silly face in his direction. He’s a completely different person when he’s around kids — and we adore him!
This child, however, took a moment to call out the classic Gordon Ramsay, “You’re an idiot sandwich,” meme. It was a totally hilarious and subtle moment that I couldn’t be more obsessed with.
When Gordon got back to the judge’s podium, he was scolded by one of his chef colleagues — who also happens to be his daughter!
“Dad! You can’t call a kid a donut,” she said.
Chef Sanchez came to Gordon Ramsay’s side, arguing that it’s “a term of endearment.”
