Getting the chance to see your favorite artist live is a magical experience. The timing of the show was perfect because Lauren had just completed chemotherapy. What an amazing way to celebrate!

In hopes of getting Drake’s attention, Lauren made a simple sign that reads: Just finished chemo. She held it up high for the rapper to see as he took the time to talk to the audience. But it’s fellow fans who take notice of her sign first. In turn, the most heartwarming thing happens.
After Finishing Chemotherapy, This Drake Fan Gets the Best Surprise

At first, folks nearby point at Lauren’s sign, hoping to draw Drake’s attention to that area. When this doesn’t work, someone gets the clever idea to use the flashlight feature on their phone to shine a light on the sign. Others follow suit and, before you know it, Lauren’s sign is lit up in the most heartwarming way possible.
“The light and love I felt was everything,” Lauren later shares in the comment section of her TikTok. “Coming from a place feeling so isolated and forgotten the amount of people STRANGERS who supported me was overwhelming in the best way.”
Plus, the efforts of the kind crowd pays off! Drake takes notice and speaks directly to Lauren.
“Listen, forget Drake, forget anybody else in this building right now,” Drake says. “That’s a true soldier right there. I hope my manager doesn’t kill me ’cause I’ve never really done this much but, listen, I want you to cash this in at the end of the night. We’re gonna give you $100,000. I love you, and I wish you the best.”
Needless to say, Lauren has never been more appreciative of this beloved rapper and singer.
“100k?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!” Lauren writes on TikTok. “Forever grateful for you, Drake.”
