When you love your dogs as much as Diane and Kennedi do, it’s only natural to want to give them the world.

Like many other pet parents, the mother-daughter pair can’t resist spoiling Ginger and Fergie, their Yorkshire terriers. Their precious faces make it impossible not to! But in quarantine, they were able to take their love to a whole new level by giving their pups their own piece of real estate.

It all started when Diane and Kennedi decided to keep themselves busy with a redecorating project. They wanted to spruce up their spare room and upgrade the decor, but then they had an even better idea.
They could craft a window seat with room for storage – and two built-in dog houses! Thus began their mission to give these pups the cozy space they deserve.

Diane documented the process on Twitter, sharing everything from putting the frame together to installing flooring.

Of course, Ginger and Fergie supervised every step of the way. They also made sure to break up Kennedi’s hard work with plenty of cuddle sessions.

About two weeks later, their masterpiece was finished. Not only were they left with a beautiful room and window seat, but they also set up a double dog house that would make any canine jealous!

If the adorable entrances and windows aren’t enough to make you squeal, just look at the pictures they hung in each room.
When it comes to giving her babies the best, Diane thinks of everything. In fact, she’s planning to add tiny couches next!

Talk about living the good life! For Diane and Kennedi, it’s the least they can do to thank their pups for their steadfast companionship. Enjoy your new digs, Ginger and Fergie!
