Back in March, Darci Lynne made her national debut on the “America’s Got Talent” stage, wowing judges and audience members alike.
While the 12-year-old girl has a voice that’ll make you do a double-take, it’s how she communicates it that’s truly incredible. Each time she’s made an appearance on the AGT stage, she’s brought a little friend along with — and this time was no different.
It was Edna Doorknocker’s turn to grace the talent show’s stage. When she came out of Darci’s suitcase, the crotchety old puppet immediately started complaining…
But it wasn’t long before she revealed her true intentions to the audience: “Now, where is that Simon feller?” she asks. When Darci points the infamous judge out to the puppet, her character transforms into a smooth-talking fox with her eye on a “hunk of English lit.”
In an effort to tell Simon how she truly feels, Edna embarks on a musical journey of passion (and hilarity).
“Looking out on the morning rain, I used to feel so uninspired…”
But when the chorus came, Edna felt emboldened by the lyrics: “‘Cause you make me feel, you make me feel, you make me feel like, a natural woman…” She insisted that Darci take her down to her love interest.
As the puppet continued to serenade Simon, he obviously loved the attention.
Naturally, the other judges went wild over the hilarious performance.
Watch Darci and Edna’s incredible ventriloquist act for yourself — it’s too funny to miss. And don’t forget to share Darci’s amazing talents with your friends.
