Everyone needs a good night’s sleep in a comfy bed, even if you’re a duck! One pet owner shared the sweetest video of her birds waddling into their room at nighttime. It didn’t take much convincing to get the animals ready for bed; all Mom had to do was call them inside. They were more than eager to tuck themselves in!
In the adorable clip, the two ducks were hanging around outside when their owner called for them. As soon as they heard her voice, the hurried back into the house. Then, when she told them it was time to turn in for the night, they made a beeline for their room. Waiting for them in bed was another duck, already locked into her enclosure.
Of course, Mom didn’t expect her birds to sleep right away. First, they had to have a cozy little chat with one another! As the remaining two ducks waddled into their own bed, all three started quacking.
“All the conversations are being had,” joked Mom. “All the backyard gossip.”
In her caption, the duck owner added, “Wish my kids were this excited to go to bed.”
Commenters were delighted by these ducks’ bedtime routine!

Apparently, these pets are pretty well trained. Their owner has tons of videos of these birds tucking themselves in every night! In another clip, Mom showed what happens after her sleepy ducks get into bed. Once they’re settled in, she shuts the door to their enclosure for safety. Then, she turns off the lights so that they can sleep in peace.
“You guys rush to bed the same way I rush to bed,” Mom teased her ducks.
