Cracker Barrel Reintroduces Beloved Meals as it Continues to Rewind its Rebrand

Cracker Barrel Favorites

In August 2025, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store attempted a rebrand of its restaurant and general store setup. They removed the kitschy décor, replaced it with a more minimalist design, and retired longtime frontman, Uncle Herschel. As we know, the backlash was swift and fierce, and a lesson not just for Cracker Barrel, but for all businesses. The model wasn’t broken, so they didn’t need to fix it. Cracker Barrel abandoned its remodel plans and returned to customer favorites. Nearly a year later, they remain on the path of getting back to basics.

Cracker Barrel will Bring Back Customer Favorite Just in Time for Summer

Just in time for warmer temperatures, Cracker Barrel announced the return of guest favorite Campfire Meals. Cracker Barrel announced the return of the foil-wrapped Campfire Chicken and Campfire Beef meals, along with some new favorites. This year, chstoers can try a Campfire Breakfast Skillet loaded with meat, veggies, cheese, and eggs over crispy potatoes. For those with a sweet tooth, we can also confirm the return of the S’Mores Brownie Skillit and Cinnamon Roll Skillet.

Cracker Barrel executives want customers to know they are listening and they are bringing back the favorites because of customer demand.

“Campfire Meals have been part of our story for nearly three decades, and every time they return, our guests remind us how meaningful this tradition is,” Sarah Moore, Chief Marketing Officer at Cracker Barrel, said in a news release. “Our foil-wrapped Campfire Chicken and Beef are some of the most anticipated dishes we serve all year, known for their bold flavors and the way they bring people together around the table. This summer, we’re excited to introduce Campfire flavors at breakfast and allow our guests to experience that same tradition in a new way.”
