Cop Pays For Little Girl’s Donuts— Her “Thank You” Note Wows Entire Police Department.

Brooke Yoast is a thoughtful little girl who loves to write down notes about the different things that happen in her life. But one carefully documented event easily stood out from the rest.

The 9-year-old one day found herself at a local Sheetz wanting to buy donut holes. Unfortunately, when the cashier rang Brooke up, she didn’t have quite enough money. That’s when a kind Pennsylvania state trooper named Chad Savannah stepped in.

Officer Savannah was standing in line behind the flustered little girl and was moved to pay for her donuts. She quickly thanked him and ran out of the store. What the officer didn’t know is that Brooke practically ran home to write a heartfelt note of thanks which she sent to her local police.

“My name is Brooke and I’m nine years old,” wrote Brooke. “I went to purchase something and didn’t have enough money. A nice police officer behind me kindly paid for my item. I thanked him but felt bad because I didn’t offer him the money I had. Som I am donating this money. I want to thank this officer again. Stay safe.”

Brooke included a $10 bill with her note — her attempt to pay back the trooper’s kindness.

The police department was so touched by her note that they raised $50 for Brooke, encouraging her to buy toys for herself. Instead, the thoughtful little girl continued to pay it forward.

She used the money to buy $50 worth of toys that she then donated to Toys for Tots.

It just goes to show how kindness begets kindness. When Officer Savannah helped Brooke out in a pickle, he never imagined it’d lead to so much more!
