College Basketball Team Scores Another Kind Of Victory When They Read To Kids.

College students read books to small children.

A group of basketball players from the University of Louisville took a break from shooting hoops to read to the kids at Auburndale Learning Academy. The college students also brought stories to life with creative activities. One educator noted that the visit not only made reading fun for the children, but gave the young adults a chance to reminisce. Needless to say, everyone in the classroom had a great time!

“I think it’s allowing them to kind of bring out their inner child when they sit on the floor and read with the kids,” she told WHAS11.

The morning event took place thanks to country star Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program. This organization also mails free books to children five and under every month.
