There are so many wonderful things to enjoy around the Christmas season. One of my favorites has to be all of the festive decor folks don their homes with, both inside and out. If you have a dog or cat, then you understand how curious pets can get over the decorated trees in our homes. But did you know that some animals, particularly those on farms, enjoy Christmas trees as tasty treats?
That’s right — creatures like chickens, goats, and sheep can get nutritional value out of these festive trees. In fact, there are lots of farms who are happy to take in donations of used Christmas trees. In doing so, more trees are recycled in a way that’s beneficial to our planet, all while ensuring farm animals are getting fed. It’s a win-win! See for yourself in the adorable videos below.
