Pet owners often love to bring their four-legged friends to visit Santa Claus, but this is the first time we’ve seen an iguana at the North Pole! TikTok account Katie’s Kritters shared a hilarious video online of her iguana, Marty, getting photographed on Santa’s lap. The lizard was very well behaved throughout the visit. St. Nick seemed thrilled to have such an unusual visitor!
“I think Santa is having the best day ever,” joked one commenter. Katie’s Kritter’s responded, “He was so excited about pictures with an iguana!”
Of course, many TikTok users were eager to see the actual images captured during Marty’s photo shoot. The iguana’s owner was more than happy to show off pictures from her pet’s visit with Santa in a separate video!
You have to be a pretty good sport to play Santa Claus in a public place. After all, you never knew what strange requests you might get! Sometimes a pet owner will ask you to hold their iguana, and sometimes an adorable toddler will tackle you with a surprise hug.
