After Tornadoes Ripped Through Her Home, This Waitress Broke Down When Her Manager Called A Special Meeting

It’s been an odd few days for the weather, but Texas had a wild weekend indeed.

On the night of December 26th, the Dallas area was hit with two major cyclones. While an F3 (of 5 categories) barreled through south Dallas, a much more powerful F4 tornado tore its way through Maegan Foster’s life.

The Chili’s waitress had only been working one month when the deadly storms struck her city. Though Maegan was glad her husband and pups were safe and sound, losing her apartment and dealing with a myriad of displacement issues was becoming a heavy burden to bear.

Over the weekend, Maegan’s manager called her in to talk about her options while the Fosters’ looked for new housing. Little did Maegan know, their meeting had an ulterior motive. The brass at Chili’s had caught wind of her situation and were determined to help their new employee get back on her feet as soon as possible.

In the screenshot below, Maegan gave us some insight into her situation.

In a wonderful turn of events, Chili’s management surprised Maegan with 2 weeks prepaid hotel stay and $5oo to help her restock on essentials that were lost to the storm. She was blown away that any company–not to mention one she’d only been with for a month–was willing to help her out in such a major way.

Here’s the Takeaway: Even when things seem the darkest, the smallest light shines all the brighter. Hold on to the small moments like this and know that someone has your back whether you know it or not.

Share Maegan’s story and spread those positive vibes… the world needs moments like this.
