Imagine driving toward an urban subdivision and seeing a family of bobcats playing near the curb. That is what happened to Kathleen Ash and a friend, Megan (or a child, possibly), in Lakewood, Colorado. The road is beside a wooded area, but the mom bobcat and her three kittens were out in the open. As they walked away from the vehicle, one bobcat kitten got distracted and began chasing a bit of fluff right toward the car.

Watching the carefree bobcat kitten chasing a piece of fluff is hilarious. The little guy has feet that are eight sizes too big. He runs like a gawky child wearing his daddy’s dress shoes. His attention is riveted on the fluff as he chases it. He suddenly stops, stands stark still, and looks right at the ladies in the car.
He almost didn’t notice the car in time. The surprise on his little face is very evident. His little tail is wagging side to side, making the scene even more adorable. He hesitantly turns to head back toward his family.
Morgan Wills posted a shorter version of the video. In her caption, she recommended checking out the comments under Kathleen’s original post. Not only are the comments golden, but the original video is longer than the snippet Morgan posted.
At the beginning of Kathleen’s video, the women see the bobcat family gathering at the side of the road. Afterward, they show the family moving back toward the wooded area and a fenced-in yard. The original video also includes commentary between the two women in the vehicle, which adds another layer of humor.
