Nature abounds with beauty, and sometimes, as adults, we take that for granted. Whether it’s the leaves changing color in the fall, the first big snowstorm of the winter, or something as simple as a rainbow on a sunny afternoon, we should marvel at it all. Sometimes, it takes a child’s wanderlust for us to realize what we’ve been missing.

Even Babies Love Nature
The younger our children are when we expose them to nature’s wonders, the better. If we let our kids’ feet touch the grass when they are little and encourage them to explore the world around them, the happier they will be outside. Peter Tangel and Heather Cappuerrune wanted their daughter to feel at home with nature, so they took her on an incredible hike in Glacier National Park. The baby girl is just eight months old, but her reaction to being in nature with her dad is incredible.
Peter posted a video on Instagram @petertangel of himself holding her in a carrier while they hiked, and the baby girl beamed. She babbled, “Da da da da,” as they walked. Her smile says she’s telling her daddy what a wonderful time she is having and that she feels so grateful he took her along for the day. Peter is equally as smitten about the special time with his baby girl and smiles the whole way through.
Instagrammers loved the father/daughter moment.
This person cheered the family on, “Yesssss start them young! I promise they will love the outdoors!”
And this one loved the sweet baby. “I love babbling babies! Yes hunny! Tell me everything!”
Some people had to convince themselves not to have a baby right away. Like this person, “Babies are expensive, Babies are expensive, Babies are expensive, Babies are expensive, Babies are expensive, Babies are expensive.”
There was so much praise for the sweet family. “One of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in a while, what a precious moment hold on to it they grow up so fast.”
