Hannah Plunkett was a super frustrated mom. Her baby son had been crying on and off for ten hours, and nothing would soothe him. In a last-ditch effort at the “I’ll try anything” stage, Hannah put on YouTube and tuned into auto mechanic sounds. The clouds parted, and a rainbow shone brightly across the sky.

The sounds of an auto garage were able to soothe the crying baby when nothing else would. While you may find that odd, it isn’t. Being a mechanic is in the baby’s genes. The family owns a repair facility, and he has spent much of his first year there “helping” his dad.
Since he has been “working” at the shop for almost a year, he received a promotion to motivational officer and general manager. He’s responsible for maintaining shop morale and scheduling all employees for adequate smile breaks throughout the day.
Parenting can be hit or miss. After trying everything else, Hannah tried some normal daytime sounds that her son hears every day. When that worked, it taught Hannah an important lesson. Babies like routine. While it’s good for him to have a day off now and then, he misses the sounds of the workplace.
There are child labor laws in place, so you don’t have to worry about the family overworking the infant. They ensure that he gets plenty of “off-clock” time throughout the workday. Of course, he also holds a second job. His mom makes handmade and upcycled clothing. When she does vendor and craft shows, her son accompanies her to assist with running the sales booth.
If you can’t get enough of this little “shop boss,” follow Hannah on TikTok to keep up with his busy schedule.
