50-Year-Old Proves It’s Never Too Late To Chase Your Dreams In First Figure Skating Competition

The world is full of endless possibilities. And yet, it can feel nearly impossible to do everything we want in our lives. That said, it’s never too late to go after even a single dream. Kynder’s mom is living proof. As a little girl, Mom dreamed of being an ice skater… but it was never something that she pursued. Well, not until she reached 50, anyway!

Now, Mom can officially say that she’s been in a figure skating competition. How cool is that!? Kynder certainly think so. In fact, Kynder has been feeling so inspired by her mom’s pursuit of her dreams, she’s sharing her performance with the world. This is how she learned that people from all over are in need of the same lesson. Check out the video below to see Mom in action!

“I love seeing adults heal their inner child,” someone points out in reply to Kyder’s video. Other commenters add, “Outside of healing her inner child it’s absolutely impressive she has the physical strength to do all this at 50!” and “Please tell your mommy she just inspired my 33 year old self who constantly worries I’m falling behind or that I’m too late for things.”

The fact that Mom entered this competition at all meant she was going to come out of it a winner. That said, the cherry on top is that she left a winner in many ways… that’s right, Mom took home the gold!
