Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham gave us some of the greatest sounds of the 1970s. Whether they were playing as part of Fleetwood Mac, on their own, or as a dynamic duo, they made their mark in music history. In July, both Stevie and Lindsey took to social media, making cryptic posts. They spoke to us with song lyrics hinting at something big. Rhino, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham’s record label announced the rerelease of the pair’s only studio album, Buckingham Nicks.

“Released on September 5, 1973, Buckingham Nicks quickly faded from commercial view but never disappeared from the cultural conversation. Recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles and produced by Keith Olsen, the album introduced Nicks and Buckingham’s tightly wound harmonies and sharply contrasting songwriting voices across 10 tracks—ranging from the folk-rock shimmer of ‘Crystal’ to the sunbaked strut of ‘Don’t Let Me Down Again.’”
The Digitally Remastered “Buckingham Nicks” Album Is Special
According to Rhino, the release will include a limited-edition vinyl for fans to collect.
“Buckingham Nicks (Rhino High Fidelity) was cut by Kevin Gray from the original masters and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Optimal. Available exclusively at Rhino.com and internationally at select Warner Music Group stores, the album is limited to 5,000 individually numbered copies,” the release explains. “A special version (limited to 2,000 copies) includes two replica 7-inch singles featuring the original single mixes of ‘Crying In The Night’ b/w ‘Stephanie’ and ‘Don’t Let Me Down Again’ b/w ‘Races Are Run.’”
The single, Don’t Let Me Down Again, dropped August 14, and fans can’t get enough. They shared their excitement on Stevie’s x post.
“Your voices were made for each other. You both make the other better in everything you’ve done musically,” one wrote.
“You know we’re just waiting for you to recreate this photo in 2025, right? please don’t make us
wait any longer,” a fan hinted.
This fan hopes the re-release of Buckingham Nicks might mean other big things.
“WE LOVE YOU GUYSSSS please we want to see you on stage together!!” The fan begged.
