“Tanguy and I are very excited,” she told the outlet, “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”

Natalie, whose father is a fertility doctor, explained that she grew up knowing all about pregnancy and the challenges that come with age.

“So I know how lucky it is. I’m very aware, and I’m very grateful. I have deep appreciation and gratitude,” Natalie Portman added.

Natalie Portman is Enjoying Her Pregnancy

She shares don Aleph, 14, and daughter Amalia, 9, with her ex-husband Benjamin Millepied. As an active mom of two older kids, she’s really enjoying this third pregnancy. Natalie Portman said that being in her 40s has helped her truly take it all in.

“There is a gratitude that when you’re young, you don’t necessarily grasp,” she says. “And there’s a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day. And knowing it’s probably the last time, I cherish every moment.”

Natalie added that pregnancy in Paris comes with some perks she loves.

“There’s been beautiful spring weather,” she said, “so it’s been pretty amazing to just walk in the incredible parks here and go see art. Just the usual things you do when you’re not working!”

Natalie added she might even get to squeeze in some extra pregnancy time at the end.

“In France, they consider full-term to be 41 weeks rather than 40, so I guess I get an extra week to be pregnant this time around,” she said.

Congratulations to the happy family. We can’t wait to see the new baby.
