Kari and Julio Pena, are Mom and Dad to 4 girls– ages 7, 8, 13, and 16– and are pregnant with baby #5. With all that estrogen in the house, Dad Julio has been dying for a baby boy, but he and Kari decided to wait to find out their baby’s gender until they were surrounded by family and friends. Kari and Julio had their doctor write down baby #5’s gender on a note inside a sealed envelope. They gave the envelope to their oldest daughter, asking her to order a color-coded cake for their gender reveal party.

When the day finally came for the reveal, everyone was hoping for a son for Julio… and they weren’t shy about it! In the video below, party guests all chant “It’s a boy! It’s a boy!” as Julio and Karen get ready to cut into the cake.
When Julio finally sees what’s underneath all that icing– a blue cake– he can hardly stand it!
In fact, he can’t stand at all! Julio goes tumbling to the ground, passed out with joy.
“It was like I collapsed and fainted at the same time,” Julio told ABC News. “I’ve been waiting for this for a long time… They had to sit me down on the sofa and I couldn’t say anything. I was like in shock.”
