We thought that McDonald’s was the biggest fast food chain in the world. Apparently, we were wrong. Even with more than 44,000 locations, McDonald’s was recently eclipsed by the Chinese bubble tea and ice cream shop Mixue Bingcheng. The company has more than 45,000 locations, and one of them will be in New York City. This is the first American location, set to open near Chinatown in Manhattan, according to Allrecipes. Fans of Mixue Bingcheng can’t wait for the company to expand in the United States because it reportedly offers delicious products at a reasonable price point. Who doesn’t love that?

Mixue Bingcheng Serves Bubble Tea And Ice Cream
As the news spread that Mixue Bingcheng is expanding, many people took to Reddit to share their excitement.
“Somehow the ice cream will still be less than a dollar per cone and still use New Zealand milk,” someone wrote.
“Meanwhile McDonalds’ ‘our ice cream machine is broken,’” another person joked.
Fans want Mixue Bingcheng to be a worldwide staple. “That ice cream looks good, hope they come to Brazil soon. We could use a fast food place that doesn’t sell itself like a luxury meal option here,” someone commented.
“Ngl, there was some time where every day after class I was getting a mixue (just a big normal one with Oreo lmao). And I had to start trying to control myself because it’s too good and it cannot be healthy lmao,” another person wrote.
“Tried it for the first time when I visited Shanghai last year. I was amazed at how good it was for the price. It was like 2RMB for a soft serve vanilla cone,” an impressed customer shared.
We checked out some of Mixue Bingcheng’s photos on social media, and they really do look delicious. We weren’t planning a trip to NYC anytime soon. But we might just have to book a flight to give this stuff a try.
