Unexpected Amazon deliveries happen from time to time, but they aren’t usually like this. Because Eleanor Malloy was expecting her package to arrive any minute, she didn’t think much of the fact that someone was knocking on her door. At least she didn’t at first.
Typically, drivers will knock a couple of times before setting the package by the door and leaving – but not this time. In fact, the knocking was so persistent that it caught Eleanor’s attention. Turns out, the delivery driver was hoping for some assistance.
During a previous delivery that day, the Amazon driver noticed that the customer had a box full of kittens. He then learned that she could no longer take care of them, prompting him to offer to take them himself.
So, how could Eleanor help, exactly? By taking care of them until the delivery driver finished his shift. Luckily, Eleanor was 100% onboard with this plan.

“There were three kittens that seemed to be around 4 to 5 weeks old,” Eleanor told The Dodo. “They were fairly weak, but within two days, they were up and playing!â€
Once all the kittens had eaten, it was time to enjoy their company before the driver came back to pick them up! Considering how irresistibly adorable the three of them are, this was not difficult.

You might think that having an Amazon driver temporarily drop off kittens at your door would be the most unexpected thing to happen to you that day, but it was an especially unique day for Eleanor.

Not only did the Amazon driver not return that day or even the next, he never returned at all. Once again, though, Eleanor was happy to take of them herself by finding them new homes.
Thankfully, it didn’t take Eleanor long at all to find these precious felines their furever homes! In fact, one had been in their new home for quite a while. That’s right, Eleanor couldn’t resist keeping one of the kittens for herself!

Eleanor certainly never would have guessed the journey she’d embark on when she heard that knocking on her door, but she couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!
