Mountain Fields Farm is a beautiful place located in Australia. Here, you’ll find fields of gorgeous flowers and lots of adorable creatures. But there’s one animal in particular whose story sounds like it belongs in an animated movie. That animal is a wild goose, and her story starts when she stumbled upon this amazing farm. She seemed intrigued by the lifestyle of the nearby animals, but she was hesitant to get too close. So, instead, she watched from a distance.

With each passing day, however, this shy little goose got a little more brave. Once she got close enough, the folks who run the farm left food and water for her. This was exactly what the wild goose needed to confirm this farm was safe. Once Jerry got settled into her new home, she laid unfertilized eggs. This inspired the farmers to gift the goose with fertilized eggs for her to care for herself. And boy, did she love that! Without hesitating, this sweet goose took over as mom for these eggs.

Sadly, only one of the eggs was viable. But this Mama Goose couldn’t be happier with the one chick she does have: Ryan! The two of them are inseparable, and folks online can’t get enough of them!
