Wholesome: Disney Characters Spot Deaf Girl From Parade Float & Use Sign Language To Talk To Her!

Performers at a Disney theme park made a deaf girl’s experience unforgettable when they spoke to her in sign language! During a holiday parade at Disneyland, Anna and Elsa from Frozen noticed the little girl from their float. Using ASL, they signed a lovely Christmas greeting just for her! She was awestruck when she saw these beloved characters communicating to her in a way she could understand.

The deaf girl’s family was so grateful that the two Disney actresses made their daughter feel so loved. They even shared a video of the positive experience on TikTok, where they post as @thatdeaffamily.

It really can’t be emphasized enough how important it is for children to feel included as they’re growing up. That’s why one devoted father designed a theme park specifically for children with all different types of disabilities so that no one would be left out of the fun!

Disney parks may not provide quite the same level of inclusivity as that father’s theme park, but it’s still amazing to see their performers going out of their way to make a deaf little girl feel special. All theme parks should follow suit!
