You might think that cats and boats don’t mix, but one four-legged feline is proving this stereotype wrong! Rocco, a Maine coon, absolutely loves life on the sea. He especially likes to tag along with his family on their boat rides! His owners have shared the cutest videos on TikTok demonstrating how the cat sits at the front of the boat, looking out onto the water like a proud captain. He even has his own little sunglasses to protect his eyes!
Not only does Rocco the cat enjoy sailing in his boat, but he also loves to swim. His family usually keeps a harness on the pet to make sure he doesn’t get swept away, but he doesn’t seem to mind. He happily wades through the water on his leash!
Rocco The Cat Wasn’t Always A Boat Lover
There was a time when Rocco, like other felines, was not a huge fan of getting wet. However, that all changed when he had to undergo hip surgery. As his owners explained in one of their videos, going to the beach was part of his rehabilitation. It was rough going at first, but the cat eventually came to love these trips. Nowadays, he can’t get enough!
