When a young Walt Disney World patron spilled her popcorn, Stitch, an unlikely hero, jumped in to rescue her. He saw the incident and immediately took matters into his own hands. Stitch politely grasped the young girl’s hand and escorted her to the nearest popcorn vendor.

Stitch is an unusual-looking hero. He is blue and has many teeth. His hands have sharp-looking claws, and he isn’t your typical Disney character. But kids love him. He was “born” as Experiment 626 in an alien lab and escaped to Earth. Landing in Hawaii, he was adopted by Lilo, a small five-year-old who lost her parents and lives with her older sister.
One of the first words that Stitch learned was “ohana,” which means family. The movie centers on that concept as Stitch learns that he doesn’t have to work to be family; he just is family. To people who know the movies, Stitch coming to the rescue when the small girl dropped her popcorn makes perfect sense.
Although he doesn’t speak much, Stitch does all the right things (usually in the wrong way). It all works out in the end, though. A hospitality translator joined the duo at the popcorn booth to ensure the vendor understood what was happening.
Order was restored within the cosmos as the popcorn vendor handed Stitch a refilled bucket of delectable kernels of joy for the young girl. Stitch got a hug from the young patron, and all was well.
Ohana Is Always The Answer For Disney’s Stitch
If you have ever had a mishap like this with children at a theme park, then you know that it can be a tragedy of epic proportions. For this little girl and her parents, rather than a meltdown and tears, she got a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you, Stitch, for helping this young girl’s Disney dreams come true!
