For this mom, the moment she was able to buy her daughter’s leased horse was truly special. Author Bridget E. Baker watched her middle daughter, Emmy, form the most wholesome bond with a four-legged friend named Johnny. Unfortunately, the animal’s owner wouldn’t sell him, as he was the perfect lesson horse. However, the woman eventually changed her mind when she saw how attached this creature had gotten to Emmy.
Bridget shared the most heartwarming footage of her daughter finding out that she’d been able to buy the leased horse. The little girl’s reaction was so sweet! Her eyes went wide when she heard the news. She couldn’t have looked more thrilled as she put her arms around Johnny’s neck in the most loving way.
There was another reason that being able to buy the leased horse was so significant for Mom, though.
“I was a wannabe horse girl as a kid, but we couldn’t afford horses,” she said in her TikTok video. “I had to love them from afar. But now I’m an author, and thanks to a lot of hard work and some luck too, I can afford the life I wanted for my three girls.”
Emmy is so lucky that her mom was willing to buy her the leased horse she’d grown to love. This little girl must have a truly incredible bond with Johnny for his owner to give him up!
