Sisterly love is unlike any other. This sister was giving her sibling a hilarious performance of “Cotton Eye Joe” to help ease labor pains… but she was caught in the act!
In the labor room, there’s a lot going on. From extreme pain and discomfort to folks coming in and out of the room non-stop, it’s a hard situation to navigate.
This sis was making a brilliant attempt to bring some peace and levity to the intense situation. She did what she knew best: making her sister laugh! Her performance of “Cotton Eye Joe” included a cowboy hat and some serious dance moves.
At the end of her jig, a nurse walked in and the sister leaped into the air, totally startled at their unexpected guest!
She laughed and laughed, taking off her cowboy hat and acknowledging the silliness of the situation.
Some nurses took to the comment section of the video to share their insights.
“Ok but if I walked in on one of my patients’ families doing this I would join in for sure,” said one fan of the “Cotton Eye Joe” labor performance.
“I’m a labor and delivery nurse and I’d 1000% join in,” said another.
