A Sheriff and his deputies recently honored a fallen friend and colleague by being there for his daughter. Deputy Christopher Knight was killed a few years ago while serving his community, leaving behind a little girl named Zemirah. Since her father couldn’t accompany her on her first day of kindergarten, the sheriff himself walked her into the school! The pair were also accompanied by a crew of deputies.
Humankind shared a sweet video of the moment on Facebook, which shows Zemirah walking down the school hallway with her entourage. What a beautiful way to make this little girl feel special on her first day of kindergarten!
