These paddleboarders got more than they bargained for when they took their board out onto the sea. Instead of just seeing some waves and some fish, they had an unbelievable whale encounter!

A whale swam up right beside the paddleboard, providing a memorable (and terrifying) moment. And these paddleboarders got it on film!
This whale encounter was clearly both mesmerizing and anxiety-inducing. You can see on his face that he’s pretty nervous about the giant creature being so close.
The whale swam around the board, popping up at first behind, and then next to, the paddleboarders.
And this creature was massive. The whale was significantly larger than these people and the board combined!
Thankfully, everyone made it out of this whale encounter safely. Viewers of the crazy clip took to the comment section to share their amazement and shock.
“My soul would have left my body immediately,” said one nervous viewer.
