Weeee! Otter Slides Joyfully Down Snow Bank At Yellowstone National Park.

An otter using the snow as a slide for fun.

One creative otter is using a snowy hill as a slide, and we can’t stop watching the hilarious video! Footage from the National Park Service on X shows the adorable critter playing outside on a winter day. Taking a moment to pause at the top of the short slope, the otter finally took the plunge and slid down on their belly. After reaching the bottom, they bounced over to a fellow otter as if to say, “Did you see that?”

“Hello from the otter slide!” wrote the National Park Service in their caption, “Must’ve slid a thousand times.”

This comment was a clever parody of Adele’s hit song, Hello.”

If you need a little pick-me-up on this winter day, watching a playful otter slide down a snowbank is sure to brighten your mood. Who knows — it might even inspire you to get out there and have some fun yourself! We certainly hope some of the other otters take a page out of this little trailblazer’s book.
