This video of two dolphins meeting a baby at an aquarium will make your day!
Dolphins and babies are curious creatures, and when they come together, it’s a cuteness overload. Dolphins are known for being smitten with babies, kids, and toddlers. They often swim near them and playfully splash around or study their faces. A family in Riccione, Italy, captured one of those heartwarming moments with their nine-month-old daughter who won the hearts of a pair of dolphins at an aquarium. And it’s now one of the best things on the internet.
The footage shows the dad holding his daughter up to the glass so she can see the animals swimming through the glass. The little girl catches the eyes of the dolphins and the hurry over to get an up-close look at the tiny human.
The baby happily kicks her feet when the animals come to say “hi,” which makes the dolphins even happier. They move around to see her better and seem to put on a little show just to see how she reacts.
The dad helps his daughter engage with the dolphins by lifting her up and down. Her new friends lift their faces up and down to follow. The baby puts her little finger up to the glass and one of the dolphins puts their nose close in response.
At one point, one of the dolphins almost looks like it’s smiling with its eyes. After the baby babbles a few happy noises, the dolphins swim away.
“The dolphins’ curiosity of the baby is absolutely precious,” someone commented.
“Sometimes everything is beautiful,” another person gushed.
