A toddler’s encounter with a dolphin has us in absolute awe.
Dolphins are fascinating animals. They’re one of the smartest creatures on the planet, and they love and play just as we do. They’re also equally as curious and personable as us. A video that’s going viral showcases all of the above.
In the video, a toddler named Ryenn Keech, who appears to be maybe 2, meets a dolphin who lives at a Gulfport, Mississippi, aquarium. As she stands in front of a giant glass viewing area, the dolphin swims down and notices Ryenn, who is mesmerized by the water.
Ryenn waves at the dolphin, and the friendly animal gives a giant smile. The friendly animal pauses in front of Ryenn and begins to study her.
Still smiling, they show so much interest in the adorable tot. They keep watching Ryenn while she point out the other dolphins who are swimming by.
“Oh, he loves you,” a voice says as Ryenn gets closer to the glass.
“He’s talking to me,” Ryenn gushes with excitement.
Before swimming away, the dolphin gives a small wave as the astonished little girl watches them leave.
