Almost as soon as “The Voice” contestant Caleb Sasser began his Blind Audition on Tuesday night, coaches Niall Horan and Gwen Stefani slammed their buttons to turn their chairs around. The singer’s beautiful rendition of “Another Sad Love Song” by Toni Braxton also transfixed Reba McEntire, who quickly followed suit. However, there was one coach that Caleb was really hoping to impress with his R&B cover: John Legend. It wasn’t long before he threw his hat into the ring, as well, leaving the singer with a difficult decision ahead!
“You got four chairs to turn for you, and we all just need to tell you how great you are, okay?” said Stefani.
A clash of the coaches ensued as each celebrity tried to win Caleb over and get him on their team. Although they all made excellent arguments, the singer had to go with the artist that he cited as one of his biggest inspirations. John Legend was thrilled to add him to “Team Legend.”
