Kristopher Hudson works five days a week at the local Wal-Mart to earn money for tuition. But to him, the job has always been more than just a paycheck. “I like to interact with customers. I like to ask if there’s any questions that they have, or if they have a problem, I would like to try and solve that for them,”says Hudson.
The 18-year-old is just starting out in life, but Hudson is so dedicated to his community that he’s done something unheard of… every week he uses part of his paycheck to buy school supplies for kids and families in need.
“It really is my way of paying it back,”Hudson added.
And the 18-year-old’s big hearted actions are inspiring others around him. Ty McCollum, the assistant manager at the Bryant Wal-Mart, told USA Today that other employees have decided to chip in to the school supply fund after seeing Hudson’s good deeds.
This wonderful young man has proved something that we all need to pay attention to, a little bit of help goes a long way.
