Mrs. Nell and Mr. Thurman Boone they are still crazy about each other after 75 years of marriage. As part of the greatest generation, Mr. Boone served his country during WWII and married his wife just before his first deployment. He survived the war and returned to his beloved, and the the duo will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary next week.
Shelly Huddleston took her grandmother to visit her grandfather in the VA nursing home, and the video she captured shows what true love and living is all about.
“I took my Grandmother to visit Papaw today at the VA nursing home. He is blind and suffers from dementia. He was so happy to be with Mamaw he could not keep his hands off her. I caught just a little bit of it. They will celebrate 75 years of marriage next week!”
