In order to compete in the Olympics, athletes must remain focused on perfecting their skills. Mia Vallee, a Canadian National Team diver understands this, and she’s determined to make a name for herself in Paris 2024. Some of her accomplishments so far include becoming a Commonwealth Games Champion and a World Medalist 2022. I can only imagine the amount of hard work and dedication it’s taken Mia to get to where she is today.

That being said, what’s the point of success if you can’t have a little fun every once in a while? There are lots of great ways for her and other divers to bond, like when their coaches fall in the water — something that happens far more than you’d imagine. Which, naturally, begs the question: How does this happen?
Well, it turns out that coaches can have a seat on a floating platform. While this seems fun in theory, it can also lead to many mishaps, albeit hilarious ones. It’s happened so many times at this point that Mia couldn’t help sharing some highlights on TikTok. Needless to say, these coaches are never living this down.
“They swear it hasn’t happened in 20 years, but I’m starting to doubt that,” Mia wrote on TikTok.
Watch these coaches try (and fail) to avoid falling in the water in the video below.
