Some videos on the internet feel like a cozy slice-of-life from small-town America.
The dashboard cam video below was uploaded to Facebook by a restaurant in Pennsylvania called Big Daddy’s Ribs and Wings. The driver was meandering through Schaefferstown when they came across a sight that’s pretty familiar to those of us who grew up in a rural setting: a small herd of cows standing smack-dab in the middle of the road. The driver slows to a crawl as the animals slowly start to move away from his car, eventually trotting down the center line on their way to whatever pressing cow business brought them out of their enclosure that day.
As music plays softly from the dash, the driver deftly uses his car to herd the cattle onto a side street, then uses his car block them in. Later, news reports indicate that these weren’t the only runaway cattle in town that day. Several more were also loose, but thankfully they all made it back home.
Thankfully this driver managed to steer clear. What a moo-ving story! (Sorry, we can’t help ourselves.)
